Hatha yoga is taught in many different ways all over the world. Yoga postures, when used as a system are beneficial for longevity and radiant health. The asanas [postures] promote the free flow of energy throughout the nervous system and assist in the elimination of toxins and poisons in the joints and other body parts.
Yoga is for everyone! Even people with specific health limitations or excessive stiffness can participate in the practice of yoga by adapting and modifying the postures to their own needs. Just as each one of us is different, we will perform differently as we progress through each class. There is no competition in yoga, no winning or being “best".
There is a gentleness and naturalness about yoga which you will come to understand through practice. The understanding of your inner Self that you acquire may just change your life!
